A small device conceived in Jackson’s Gap was recently launched into space and will soon orbit the Earth.

A small part of the Amateur Radio on the International Space Station Satellite, or ARISSat-1, was designed and tested in the Jackson’s Gap home of John Klingelhoeffer.
