On the morning that he was to stand trial for the killing of his girlfriend and unborn child in Tallapoosa County Circuit Court in Dadeville, a Chambers County man instead entered a guilty plea.

Keith Lamar Ware, 32, had been facing the potential of life in prison without parole in a capital murder trial after being charged in the death of Cherri Nicole Dawson, 31, of Auburn on Oct. 8, 2011. Dawson was reportedly five months pregnant with Ware’s child at the time of her death.
