New surgeon joins LMCH ushering in new era of surgical care

As Lake Martin Community Hospital continues its focus on providing care that would otherwise be hard to access, a new surgeon has joined its ranks to revitalize the surgery department and services. 

Dr. Wes Cutcliffe is a general surgeon and endoscopist at LMCH. Along with general surgical procedures, his care includes hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, appendectomies and abdominal and colorectal procedures. Cutcliffe said the goal right now is to eventually offer full service elective operations and to transition to more impatient surgeries as the practice grows.
