Family history develops local farmer’s heart for ministry

Finley Family Farm Stand owner Joanne Finley recently celebrated her grand opening on Saturday. Operated by her and her two brothers, the siblings raise their own fruits and vegetables to sell, but living on and operating the family farm in Camp Hill was not Finley’s original plan. 

Finley did not just grow up on the farm, she was born in the home built by her father and it’s still standing. Finley’s dad taught her how to live off the land. She learned how to raise crops, a work ethic, punctuality and when she thought it was in her plans to leave, it was those lessons that sent her to serve in the U.S. Army for 25 years.
