Monday’s Tallapoosa County Board of Education meeting celebrated the work of a bus driver for Dadeville schools and approved the recognition of the Alabama Construction Industry Craft Training Board Grant.

Sarah Chase / TPI Melanie Partridge accepts class clock from Superintendent Casey Davis for her 20 years of service to Dadeville schools.

Melanie Partridge worked 20 years as a bus driver for Dadeville schools and was given a glass clock by TCS superintendent Casey Davis. Davis described Partridge as someone who always had a smiling face for students and he enjoyed speaking with during her employment.
