When working as a paraprofessional, Dadeville Elementary School Support of the Year Mary Haddox says it is important to lead with love and be open. 

Haddox has been at DES for 26 years. She began driving a school bus for special education students. She was then hired on to work with a student who had Tourette's syndrome. Then two years ago, she went back to driving a school bus while working with the students.
