For one half, the Dadeville football team was in the thick of things against Handley.

However, things in the second half slowed down while Handley gained momentum — resulting in a 49-20 loss for the Tigers in the second week. So far, Dadeville has matched up with teams in a higher classification than them, Elmore County in Class 5A and Handley in Class 4A.
