It was a heartbreaking finish to the season-opener for the Dadeville football team.

Despite being pitted against Class 5A Elmore County, with nearly double the roster size. Dadeville fought tooth and nail, eventually sending the game to overtime, but falling 31-30 when the clock hit zero.
