Edgewood looks to first game with new coach

Edgewood is heading into their first game of the Joe Brewton era and their first matchup is a tough one. They will be traveling down to Lowndesboro for their season opener at Lowndes Academy. 

Lowndes is heading into this season with a thirst for blood, as they returned to the AISA Class AA state championship for the fourth time in a row as the three-time defending champions. They lost to South Choctaw 14-7 and their winning streak – the longest in the state – was ultimately broken.
