The Elmore County High Panthers are sitting pretty in 5A Region 4 after defeating Beauregard, 33-6, Friday night at Burt Haynie Field. 

Elmore County enters its bye week at 3-1 and unbeaten in the region. The true test looms at the end of the month, though, when the Panthers will travel to perennial football powerhouse Clay Central.
