The Elmore County Panthers are headed back to the football playoffs this season for the fourth year in a row, every year Kyle Caldwell has been the head coach. They sealed their playoff berth by handling Marbury at home two weeks ago, 35-3. The Panthers will head out to Demopolis for their first round playoff matchup.

Last week, the Panthers ran right through the Sylacauga Aggies (4-5, 1-5), beating them 42-14. The win came on the backs of a 355-yard offensive effort, led by quarterback Gage Davis. Davis was 14-for-18 on the night, totaling 181 yards and four touchdowns. Davis got all his receivers involved, connecting with four different receivers for those touchdowns including Thomas Payton, Beau Traylor, Justin Brooks and Kashon Moe.Â
