The Stanhope Elmore Mustangs are heading into the second to last week of region games. A win this week could solidify their position as a playoff-qualifying team.

The Stanhope Elmore Mustangs are coming off two weeks of region competition on the road, but this week they’re back home in Millbrook. First, it was Russell County that trampled the Mustangs, 28-10. 

Stanhope Elmore coach Hunter Adams credited it to a lackluster defensive performance in the first half, creating a deficit that the offense just couldn’t overcome.Â
