The Wetumpka City Council approved spending $289,717.89 for five patrol vehicles at its Tuesday meeting last week.

“It will allow the replacement of three vehicles,” Wetumpka police chief Ed Reeves said. “The other vehicles will allow the transfer of two patrol vehicles to another police department division.”
