Alex City man arrested after search

Cameron Silmon, 20, of Alexander City was arrested June 26 after a search netted several questionable guns, gun parts and marijuana.

According to a press release, The Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force Agents conducted a search on J Street in Alexander City, where agents located an AR pistol with no serial number, a Palmetto State Armory AR pistol, 3D printer, 3D printed lowers for pistols and rifles, marijuana packaging, 1.9 oz. of marijuana, 3D printed suppressor, a heat sealer and approximately $10,000 in assorted U.S. currency. Agents also seized a 2017 Dodge Charger during the investigation, the release stated.
