The Alabama state law prohibiting students’ use of smart phones, tablets, smart watches and other wireless devices inside public schools has gone smoother than expected, according to Alexander City Schools superintendent Dr. Jose Reyes.

In May, Gov. Kay Ivey signed the FOCUS Act, which prohibits students’ use of most electronic devices inside public schools in Alabama.
