Samford did not just have its eye on one Benjamin Russell defensive lineman, it had its eyes on two.Â
Just days after teammate Kenderious Byrd was extended a scholarship offer, sophomore Charzale Davis also received a scholarship offer of his own from the Bulldogs — now putting his grand total at four. He’s received other offers from North Alabama, Louisiana-Monroe and most recently Troy.Â
