There is a certain bad omen hanging over the head of the Benjamin Russell football team — the lighting in the stadium. Now, for the second week in a row, oddly enough, the lights have gone off on the Wildcats mid-action.

And seemingly, the light shutting off in Martin-Savarese Stadium was sending a sign for what was to come. Ultimately, that sign ended up being a 23-7 Vestavia Hills win.
