On Wednesday, Billy G. Jordan Jr., 48, of Alexander City, died as a result of a single-vehicle crash while he was on his bicycle, according to a press release by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The release stated Jordan was on his bicycle when he was struck in the rear end by Rodney J. Freeman, 51, of Alexander, who was driving a 2012 Ford E-350 van.
