Many tears of joy were shed Thursday night at the Mill 280 as the Alexander City Chamber of Commerce hosted its 115th annual meeting and awards ceremony.

A celebration of the city’s best took place as awards for business person of the year, community spirit, teacher of the year and more were handed out.
