Due to past due utility payments totalling $4.1 million, Alexander City Mayor Mike Densmore told the City of Alexander City City Council collections would have to become more serious.

“I have been cautioned by some people that it is imperative we collect our receivables,” Densmore said. “It’s hurting our general and utility funds.”
