The Central Coosa boys basketball team took home a big 66-49 win over Greene County on Saturday night, advancing in the playoffs. 

For the Cougars (15-8), Waylon Chapman-Allen paved the way with a team-high 27 points. He added another three rebounds, three steals and a block to boot. Zaccai Lauderdale pitched in with 10 points in a shortened workload, hitting for deep twice  and adding six rebounds. Ja’Von Thomas and Issacc Lee added nine points each, while Jacquez Parker came away with eight points. Cory Thompson led the team in rebounds with nine, adding two steals and two points.
