CTE month celebratory program promotes career aspirations in young students

To celebrate Career Technical Education month, Edward Bell Career Technical School students visited Horseshoe Bend School elementary students to highlight different career paths. 

Dadeville High School and HBS career coach Cheryl Bynum sponsored CTE Read Across Tallapoosa County for the second year. Bynum tasked Edward Bell students to read different stories about different careers to HBS elementary students. The celebration started at 8 a.m. Monday with students reading all morning and continued Wednesday sporadically throughout the morning and afternoon. Similar events are also taking place at Reeltown and Dadeville elementary schools this month to celebrate CTE month.
