For many years, Ami Edwards knew she wanted to go on to play basketball after her graduation from Benjamin Russell High School.

And it was early on in her career that she got a call from Fisk University, an NAIA school in Nashville, Tennessee. So she knew there was always a chance, but it wasn’t until standout junior and senior seasons that Edwards really started to pile on the offers.
