Nobody could have anticipated the turnout for the Alexander City Kiwanis Club annual pancake breakfast Saturday.

“We had the best attendance,” Kiwanis member Randy Dawkins said. “Even with the freezing cold and the wind, we had more people buy tickets at the door than we did last year.”
