After a summer of success and preparation, Horseshoe Bend girls basketball coach Erica Meigs has high expectations for this year's group.

After losing four seniors from a year ago — Greenleigh Key, Cara Johnson, Jacey Johnson and Kailee Giddens — the summer was spent finding a new core of players to step up for the Generals this season, and with where things stand now, it’s looking good.
