In the history of Alabama high school softball, 74 student-athletes have thrown 600 or more strikeouts in their career. On Saturday, the 75th etched her name in the history books.

During Horseshoe Bend junior Brynlee Alford’s three innings in the circle against Moody, she picked up the 600th career strikeout in her high school career. This comes just over a month later, after Alford notched the 500th of her career during the early stretch of this season. It shows you how fast time flies when you send batters packing.
