On Saturday, March 28, Horseshoe Bend National Military Park invites the public to commemorate the 212th Anniversary of the Battle of the Horseshoe. This free, family-friendly event highlights the significance of the Battle of Horseshoe Bend in U.S. history. Leaders from the Muscogee Creek Nation will share stories from their ancestral lands to highlight cultural effects of the battle. The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the park visitor center.
