File / TPI Horseshoe Bend’s Braxton Wilson (2) will be a key player for the Generals this Friday. Last year, Wilson scored three touchdowns against Central Coosa.
Considering the stats Horseshoe Bend’s Braxton Wilson put up in his high school career, colleges were bound to come calling soon.
Wilson heard from colleges as early as his eighth-grade year with the Generals, but things really did not start picking up until his junior season. That year, he rushed for a team-high 1,550 yards and 27 touchdowns. He also saw some major involvement in the receiving game as well, finishing as the team’s leading receiver with 404 yards and four more scores.
