Before his retirement, Argus “Red” Brasell was well-known in the area as the insurance man.

During a simpler time, if you had life insurance through Liberty National, more than likely Brasell would stop at your home once a month to pick up the insurance premiums. The envelope that held the cash or check would be left by the front door. If you weren’t home, Red would open your front door and know exactly where the envelope was and take your payment.
