Although originally scheduled for later this month, Benjamin Russell rising senior Kalib Spivey’s decision came much sooner than expected.

The three-star rated defensive lineman, and No. 21 rated player in the state — according to 247Sports — announced his decision to commit to Georgia Tech; one of his top four schools he announced back in May. The three others consisted of Clemson, Duke and Maryland as the remaining schools.
