When Klark James was presented with the opportunity to host a youth basketball camp at Horseshoe Bend School, his alma mater, there was no question in his mind that he would do it. Basketball was a beacon of light to James when he needed it most, so the opportunity to share that beacon with others from his community is invaluable.

“I like being in this position to give back,” James said. “I feel like it’s God-given, but it’s super important to just be a role model. I mean these kids are young, I feel like they think a lot of stuff is cool, so if basketball is one of those things, then I think it’s cool to be able to shed light on something that I was decent at.”
