Dadeville resident Danny Robinson announced he is running for Tallapoosa County Commission District 4.

Danny Robinson, right, has qualified to run for Tallapoosa County Commission District 4.

Robinson, who has been employed with Tallapoosa EMS since June 2004, has qualified through the Tallapoosa County Republican Party to run for the seat. Current District 4 commissioner Emma Jean Thweatt announced recently she would not be seeking reelection.
