A local family was wrapped in love and prayer Monday night after the tragic death of 10-year-old Horseshoe Bend student Reed Smith, who died Friday, Aug. 23.

A prayer vigil was held in his honor at the Alexander City Soccer Complex, where Reed spent so much of his time.
