Mardracus Russell is well-known at Dadeville High School as a history teacher and the track and field coach. Now he has also stepped in as the new band director.
Russell is no stranger to the Sound of Gold. During his time as a DHS student, he was in the marching band from the beginning band to his senior year. He played pit percussion, drumline and later was the drum major.
