ACS moves forward on paving project

Multiple Alexander City Schools parking lots will soon have new asphalt.

During Thursday’s board meeting, the Alexander City Schools Board of Education approved $541,658.80 for Gary Ingram Paving Inc. to pave lots at Benjamin Russell High School, including the front parking lot, the back road and small parking lot behind the school and the bus parking lot as well as the front and back parking lots at the central office. The funding for the project comes from the advancement and technology fund.
