Camp Hill forgoes $17 million in grants

The Town of Camp Hill is attempting to address overdue water bills dating back to last year. Officials for months have strived to work out a deal with the Dadeville Waterworks and Sewer Board and Camp Hill in order to catch up on payments. Negotiations, however, on a deal recently stalled.

Camp Hill may have made a decision that will cost the town $17 million.

After struggling to keep up with their water bills, Camp Hill officials realized the town had major infrastructure issues. With leaks in the water and sewer lines, the bills were becoming more than Camp Hill could handle.
