Camp Hill residents are unhappy with trash pick up

At Monday's Camp Hill council meeting, there was discussion about the need for a better trash pick-up system.

A handful of residents came to Monday’s Camp Hill Town Council meeting to discuss the need for cleaner streets and rights-of-way around town.

One of the areas discussed is the landfill and issue of people illegally dumping outside the fencing. Mayor Messiah Williams-Cole said the plan is for the landfill to not even be there in the next couple of years. For the time being, the town wants to put more fencing around the landfill to cover it and also keep people from going in there to dump. That likely won’t start for the next few months, but they are working on cleaning it up.
