Career coaches transforming lives of local students

“You don’t know what you don’t know” is the motto for the Tallapoosa County Schools career coaches.

Career coaches Cheryl Bynum and Dawn Smith said their primary job is introducing students to possible future careers to help them find their path before graduation. Bynum said they both advocate for students to get further training after high school whether it be a four-year degree or a certificate program. And they want students to use their high school years to help them have an idea of what industry they want to go into.
