Churches enter Lent season on Ash Wednesday

Tomorrow, many churches around the area will begin the season of Lent with Ash Wednesday.

The Reverend Rob Iler, rector of St. James Episcopal Church, explained that Ash Wednesday is the first day of 40 days of Lent, which depending on the denomination, runs to sundown on Holy Saturday.
