A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5 p.m. Saturday has claimed two lives. According to a press release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Kelderick J. Williams, 34, of Vestavia Hills, was fatally injured when the 2003 BMW 325xi he was driving was struck by the 2021 Nissan Murano driven by James W. Thrasher, 73, of Oxford. 

Williams was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene, the release stated.Â
