Old Miller’s Ferry Bridge might be getting a facelift.

The Dadeville City Council is working on finding solutions to restore the bridge as it has a tendency to flood and has a low weight limit. Fire chief Scott Atkins had previously mentioned to the council the weight limit is so low for the bridge that not even the brush truck is supposed to cross it. Of course, in the event of a fire, the department is going to do what they need to do to put it out, but regardless it’s still a concern.
