What do fire departments do when faced with no hydrants during a fire — it’s a reality first responders often grapple with in Tallapoosa County. 

Stillwaters Volunteer Fire Department chief Tim Peterson said the issue has caused such a problem, fire departments from across the county recently formed a new task force to address it.
