Alabama Asphalt Pavement Association executive director Mel Monk spoke to the Lake Martin Dadeville Area Chamber of Commerce during its quarterly meeting Tuesday and shared a wealth of information about road maintenance and taxes with the group. 

Chamber second vice president Trey Foshee started the meeting by reporting the chamber was up to 185 members and there had been 19 new businesses with five ribbon cuttings in the area.
