Like most people who go to a new job, Chris Hand is looking forward to the challenges that await him in his new position because it is something he has always wanted to do.

Hand was named the new principal at Councill Middle School to replace Dr. Chuck Ledbetter, who left to take the job opening at Dadeville High School.
