A Gadsden man was arrested Saturday after authorities discovered 825 grams of marijuana in his trunk during a traffic stop.

Christopher George Garmon, 38, of Gadsden was charged with possession of marijuana first degree and drug paraphernalia Jan. 22 at 5:22 p.m. after he was pulled over on U.S. 280 and County Road for a speeding violation, according to the Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force.
