More than 500 homes will have high-speed internet access thanks to an ARPA grant in Tallapoosa County.

Tuesday, Spectrum announced it has been awarded an Alabama Capital Projects Fund Grant of more than $3.2 million to bring gigabit high-speed internet access to more than 500 homes and small businesses in the county. Combined with the state grant, the total project investment, including nearly $1.5 million from Spectrum, is more than $4.7 million.
