Local churches to host a live nativity scene

The drive-thru event will include various scenes with real people and live animals.

Churches in Alexander City will put the Christ in Christmas this holiday season.

More than nine city churches are partnering together to put on the city’s first drive-thru live nativity scene in the Charles E. Bailey Sr. Sportplex this year. On two weekends in December, the nativity scene will be active in the sportplex. Real people and live animals will reenact nine scenes leading up to Jesus Christ’s birth.
