Local sixth grader recycles 7,000 pounds of trash

Submitted / TPI McCrae Thornell recycled over 7000 pounds last year and won 1st Place with Trailblazers in the Awesome Blossoms group.

Small acts add up over time and can sometimes have a big impact.

McCrae Thornell has been part of the Lake Martin Trailblazers since kindergarten, and this is just her second year participating in the recycling contest. However, she managed to collect 7,000 pounds of trash to recycle, winning first place in the Awesome Blossoms group for 2024.
