Long-time gardener grows rare bloom on aloe vera plant

When perusing a garden or plant nursery, it is not uncommon to see exotic greenery and flowers of all different shapes or sizes, but some things must be seen to be believed.

Allen Floyd has worked with plants and flowers at Lake Martin Business Supply since 1989, but when he saw a nearly three foot tall flower sprouting from one of his aloe vera plants, it was like nothing he had ever seen before.
