Law enforcement are searching for Tom Seabers Pope who escaped from custody of the Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) Alexander Center Work Release Center Sunday evening.

Court records indicate Pope, 35, is from Albertville. He was reported as escaped at approximately 6:45 p.m. and ADOC issued a release at 11:09 p.m. Pope is described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall weighing approximately 160 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
